Rice Cereal

Today Tyler tried rice cereal for the first time. It was hilarious! I put him in the bumbo and proceeded to try and feed him with a spoon. Most the time he was just fascinated with the spoon and tried to grab at it and fling it all over me, him, and the table. Somehow I was able to shove some in his mouth occasionally, but most of it ended up on his chin and bib - and the look on his face was priceless. I thought for sure he hated it, but then we tried it with the bottle and he drank it all up. I think he was a little weirded out by the plastic taste from the spoon. For now we will just stick with the cereal in the bottle and try the spoon again in a little while. I can't believe my baby is getting so old!

Update: Apparently, you aren't supposed to put the rice cereal in a bottle by this age. Guess we will be using the spoon sooner than I thought.

Easter!

I can already tell that holidays with kids are so much more fun! Even though Tyler was still too young to notice or care much I think he still enjoyed it. We spent Easter Sunday finding our baskets at our house, then doing the same at Mark's parent's house, watched a terrific conference which was all about families (which I LOVED! Perfect timing!), ate a yummy lunch, had an Easter egg hunt for the kids (and the kids at heart), and just enjoyed each other's company.

Tyler's Easter basket from mommy and daddy. I love this face - its his "what in the world is this?" face. We see it often as he discovers new things.

I love that we caught him mid-laugh!

Sitting up so well and such a handsome boy!

I just liked his little hand in this picture.

The Easter basket from grandma and grandpa A. Yummy bunny ears!

I really liked this picture. Another self photography shot.

Little Man

True or false - Tyler is the cutest baby boy you have ever seen. I love his little man clothes!

Random

The other day, I was playing on the floor with Tyler - trying to get some pictures of him doing something cute, I'm sure. And decided to see what kind of pictures we could get of the two of us with me as the photographer - and this is the result. I was actually pretty pleased. Not wall hanging worthy, but I think I caught some cute moments.
