Halloween

Halloween gets more fun every year! Tyler loved everything about it! Well except for the pumpkin guts. He made me do that part, but he did help me with the carving knife.

We did a few fun crafts the week leading up to Halloween. From top to bottom: monster (created entirely by Tyler), handprint bat, cottonball ghost, scrap paper pumpkin, lunch bag stuffed bat.
Halloween night started early for us. Clara donned this awesome wig (part of daddy's costume)

Tyler wasn't a fan
Clara's real costume: a ladybug. A ladybug that wouldn't stay still for two seconds.
Mark and I doing the 80's and looking good doing it!
Tyler was, of course, Spiderman
Once dressed up, we headed over to a friend's house for a little party where we had a Cafe Rio style dinner and went trick or treating. All in all there were 17 kids there!
Trick or treating? Why have you been keeping this from me for so long!?
Checking out his loot.
He was so cute and always remembered to say "thank you" even if he did have to walk back to the door to do it.

Once again trying to take pictures of my children is nearly impossible!

Oak Glen

This year we decided to travel a bit to get a higher quality pumpkin patch and that is exactly what we found in Oak Glen. Acres of pumpkins, u-pick apple orchards, homemade pumpkin spice donuts, and a country diner for dinner. It was a great day with great friends!

Clara picks her pumpkin... you can do it!
Ok... let's try a different way
 That's it pumpkin! You win!

 Frolicking through the pumpkin patch
Here you go Siena. You get the green pumpkin.
 Thanks Tyler!

 Picking a wild sunflower

Once again Clara has high ambitions

After selecting our prize winning pumpkins we headed up to the apple orchard where Tyler did a lot of this:
Clara helped us find all the apples on the ground.

Tyler and the ladies! (and yes he's still eating...it was probably his third or fourth)

Family shots. Thanks for looking so natural Tyler.

Discovery Science Center

We only spent 2 days at Disneyland, but we had the hotel an extra night so the next day, after checking out, we headed to the Discovery Science Center. Unfortunately, Tyler woke up with the same fever Clara had two days before and it seemed to follow the same pattern. Pretty good in the morning with a quick down hill slide into yuckiness. It was actually a really fun museum and had Tyler been himself I think he would have loved it even more! Thanks for all the fun Papa!!

Hitching a ride on Indiana Jones Truck
 Flying an airplane
 Making clouds
Driving a Bob the Builder Truck
Even meeting Bob the Builder himself!
They had a fun Dinosaur portion and Tyler loved putting the dinosaur bone puzzle together

I could tell he wasn't feeling so great when he made this face when we asked him to smile.
It says: I'm trying really hard to be happy, but I feel like poo!

Clara had fun with the air blower/ball thing.

 Oops! Air in the face.
And being pushed into a pin wall
There's Clara
Mommy and daddy also had some fun
standing in a hurricane tunnel

And laying on a bed of nails
