Halloween Present

This was the first year in 3 years that no one was sick on Halloween! The kids were so excited and to make it even better, Papa Wettlaufer, came to visit and took them trick or treating!

No homemade costumes for this mama! Tyler wanted to be Ironman again this year and who's to argue! We decided to update his costume with this way cooler version! The chest light even lights up! You can still see the remnants of his run in with the gun and his face.

 Yeah, waaaaay cool!

My little princess wanted to be Cinderella and she makes the perfect Cinderella! I mean...seriously...is there another 3 year old that looks more like Cinderella? She even got to wear makeup and she loved that!
Ready to go! Stop with the pictures all ready!

Throwback Halloween

My mom started scanning in our old family pictures and sent these gems to me on Halloween. I just had to document for posterity sake! (even if it means embarrassment!)

In no particular order, presenting Wettlaufer Halloweens:

 Gypsies on parade
 I know....it's just sad.
I'm pretty sure I'm the clown, although I have absolutely no memory of this.
A pretty cute crayon, if I do say so myself.

I bet I'm one of the first girls to ever go as a pioneer.
My mom made that Scarlet O'Hara dress. Pretty snazzy!
My mom made all of these. Actually, it was a rare occurrence to get a store bought costume. These were way better, in my opinion!

How my mom convinced me to be a tomato I'll never know.
 This makes up for it!

Let's be honest, I was adorable!

October Activities

After a good week of healing and recovery, (thanks to my mom!!!) It was time to get back to normal life! And it was a great month!

Grandma and papa Andreasen brought over Halloween cookies to decorate and we had a blast trying to create the best Halloween cookie. Mark thinks he won, but, come on, it was me.

Clara got to go to the pumpkin patch with grandma, papa, and cousin Brook all by herself! She had a had a great time!
Pumpkin carving. Tyler refused to touch the insides - check out that face!
Check out my face! At least I wo-maned up and dug out those guts!

So did Clara. You go girl!
Tyler just flicked the pumpkin seeds. Haha so Tyler!

Papa Wettlaufer came down for Halloween and brought an early birthday present for Tyler. They had tons of fun building things!
Clara tried too. She liked to line the blocks up and create a road.

Tyler built this huge tower all by himself!
The master train built my Mark and Tyler!
And the master city, built by Papa and Tyler.

Riley's Apple Orchard

This was our third annual trip to Riley's Farms and this year I was determined to go early enough to beat the crowds and get some apples. It worked! It was still crowded, but we did get apples! We also spent some time in the village eating lunch, going on giant blow up slides, and buying yummy cider donuts - YUM!

It was a bit cooler this year (you wouldn't know it looking at Clara). I love pictures of running kids and loving life!

Another successful year with even bigger kids! Why are they getting so big?
