The first two weeks of October Mark had fall break. I was not going to let this opportunity pass us by so I planned two fun filled trips, one being a 4 day campout at Zion Canyon National Park. Although I was a bit wary to take the 5 hour drive to Zions and then campout for 4 days with 2 toddlers, it ended up being tons of fun! The kids not only did great in the car, but they loved camping and hiking (well most of the time). It was definitely a trip that we will have to take again in the future - maybe next time when the kids can hike themselves up the mountain. :)

Aunt Sissa and her friend Faith joined us for the first 2 days.
One thing I love about kids is their enthusiasm for just about anything. Tyler, a lover of all things with a motor, looked forward to every trip on the bus and would entertain all on board with his renditions of Wheels on the Bus, 5 Little Monkeys, or some other little ditty. Luckily, most thought he was adorable.

Clara got a bit mad about being in the stroller on the way back down.

And a lady walking behind us told me it was important to catch these moments and to get in on it and she'd take the picture. Nice lady!
Our last hike of the trip: Riverside Walk
Riverside walk ends at the entrance to The Narrows. We obviously couldn't take the kids into the Narrows, but we had fun playing in the river!
