Crawling, Dancing, Clapping, Eating, Standing

In the past couple months Tyler has learned so much! What happened to my baby? I can't believe he will be 9 months old in a week! SLOW DOWN TIME!

Tyler crawling. He isn't quite coordinated yet, but he's getting it. He still prefers to scoot, but right now it looks like scoot, get up, crawl, fall, scoot, get up, crawl, fall, etc. This video was one of the better attempts. Pretty soon we'll have a full fledged crawler on our hands.

Tyler dancing. After wondering (and worrying) if my son would ever react to music, I caught him dancing to his toy. We quickly released the poor toy from his box so Tyler could more fully enjoy him.

Tyler clapping. Another sign that I'm sure means Tyler is musically inclined :) He loves clapping for himself now. "Yay Tyler!" Probably his favorite phrase.

Tyler eating. Tyler has gone through all the pureed foods, but we were waiting for some teeth to appear before starting munchy foods. Finally, a few weeks ago, he sprouted a nice pair of bottom teeth. We wasted no time in buying some dissolvable foods. He loves his new cracker snacks.

Tyler standing. This video was one of his first attempts. Now he can pull himself up to almost everything. Good thing we lowered his crib a couple week ago. Phew! Just in time.
