Clara's 4th Birthday! (June 14)

My Clarabelle's 4 now! For the record, this happened 4 months ago in June!) My sweet, sassy, teenager in a preschooler's body baby is getting so big! Look at that beautiful face! She is my eternal baby, my mini me, my shadow, my love!
Clara can wrap you around her finger in seconds! She is love and cuddles. She is happiness and imagination. She is anger and tantrums. She is attitude and sass. She is smiles and giggles. She is the death glare and pouting. She is a wet thumb and nose nuzzle. She is play make up and dress up. She is running and jumping. She is bruises and scrapes. She is a warm little body next to me at night. She is scrumptious and kissable. She is big green eyes and freckles. She is my girl!
Some things about Clara on this birthday:
She still has an intense speech impediment, but I love it!
She is slightly shy around her dad and kind of scared of him too for no real reason. But he sure tries to convince her otherwise!
She loves make up and nail polish and hair and plays it every day.
She loves to fall asleep nose to nose.
She uses my finger nail to stroke her upper lip, while sucking her thumb to comfort her.
She has a thing with stroking your face or arm or whatever for comfort.
She always pretends to be a kitten or puppy.
She thinks she's still a baby and wants to be held ALL the time.
She always wants to "tend" (aka pretend). And she'll tell you in a whisper ("mom, it's just 'tend'.")
She's starting to pray be herself, but will always bless the food - no matter what.
She has 3 best friends - Harlee, Lottie, and Emmett.
She love/hates her brother. And he is her best frenemy.
She loves to color and is getting really good!
She can write her name and count to 30 (well, she skips a few).
She can make everyone love her, kids and adults alike. I can't count the number of times someone has come up to me to tell me how much they adore her.
This year Clara got to invite one friend to a jumping place and Sonic and then later a family night of presents and Nubi frozen yogurt. It was a great way to celebrate our special girl!

The special present. The paper is coming off...

Its a nail polish kit! I think she likes it. :)
