We went on our first camping trip as a family of four a couple weeks ago and had a great time! It almost didn't happen, as there was a huge thunder and lightening storm forecasted that night, but Mark decided to go for it anyway and I'm glad we did! The weather was perfect! The storm didn't start until we were on our way down the mountain to go back home the next day. Good timing! Tyler thought it was the coolest thing ever to call a tent our home for the night. That is until he woke up at 3 am freezing and informed us he wanted to "go back home!" After climbing into daddy's sleeping bag he slept just fine. Both the kids loved being outdoors and having room to roam. I loved not having any electronic distractions and just having family time! We have already scheduled our next trip and I can't wait!!

Tyler's favorite: the restrooms - no joke. We were really close to one and we had to chase after him several times as he'd take off toward one. Why would a restroom be fun? Well, he got to stand up to pee! Can't get much more exciting then that.
