We went on our third trip to Disneyland in January and it was the perfect day! The weather was great, the lines were short, the kids were happy as clams, it was a fun day at Disney! We got to go on way more rides than planned and this time we didn't sleep through the Pixar Play Parade!
This time around Clara insisted on sitting in her own seat. I guess over the two months that passed since our last visit she grew up a bit. She also seemed to think the rides were fun this time and got excited for each new ride and pointed out rides she wanted to go on.
Here she is ready to visit the 100 Acre Woods with Winnie the Pooh
Tyler and daddy are ready too.
If this doesn't prove a change in Clara in a short two months, nothing does. She actually went up to a character and hugged him.
It didn't last too long, but she did it.
Pooh was a bit too scary for Clara though.
Buzz is always a must see
While we were eating lunch, Tyler saw Jessie in the distance and took off. I ran after him so as not to lose him. And this is what happened:
Tyler really loves seeing the characters he knows, especially any from Toy Story or Cars. But since his mommy and daddy don't do the whole wait in line for a character thing much, he has to see his characters by chance or in a parade. So this Jessie thing was awesome! He even blew her a kiss, but I missed it!
Mickey's Toontown. Tyler went on his first roller coaster in Toontown. His face was hilarious, but at the end he said he had fun and wanted to do it again!
The longest line of the day: Peter Pan. Had to keep Clara entertained somehow.
The first time on the Dumbo ride. Clara loved it!
Tyler conked out waiting for The Little Mermaid, but woke up in time for the ride.
We have one or two more Disney trips in the making before our passes run out and then no more Disney for a while. Sigh. But we will make the best of our last trips!
