The weather in the High Desert in winter is crazy! It could be 60-70 degrees for a few days only to drop to freezing a few days later and threaten snow. And every so often the threat is real! This day we woke up to snow - real live snow! It lasted about 2 days, but that didn't bug us.
Tyler couldn't wait to go outside! Problem: Tyler doesn't own a coat. Clara doesn't own gloves. Mark and I don't own gloves. Basically we are sorely unprepared if there ever happened to be a blizzard. We did the best we could layering sweatshirts and pants and using Mark's yard work gloves. Tyler didn't seem to mind the cold too much, but yard work gloves are sore substitutes for the real deal.
First order of business: make the best, dirtiest snowman ever!
Second on the docket: snowball fight.
And finally, save the freezing baby and take her back inside.
