March was a much better month! It started getting warm, I was healthy, and we were getting back to normal! Plus Mark had his spring break so we had extra daddy time and we all love that!
Tyler and I finished this lego car. I can't even begin to explain how difficult it was. Tyler has some knock off legos that only have pictures - no step by step instructions. So if you can't see something in the 2-D picture you're out of luck and are left to your imagination! The picture doesn't do my engineering feat justice! When Tyler wanted to take it apart I seriously thought about putting the dang thing in a shadow box!
After a dentist trip I walked in on Clara playing dentist with her babies - light and shot and all!
Tyler had some cavities. Our good friend is our dentist and just puts Tyler on the gas so he doesn't have to have any shots. Luckily my son doesn't have my same fear of the dentist!
During spring break we got to go to a hockey game. Our first hockey game ever. I was a bit alarmed! Nothing like football or basketball. People cheering on fights and violence. Tyler's face when the first fight broke out was part funny part heart breaking. It was his first time ever seeing fighting in real life - not just power rangers on TV. I almost watched a small chunk of innocence break off. He seemed to like the cheerleaders though....UGH! Can he just stay little forever?
Even Clara got in on the cheering action - following the lead of those around her. Both kids tried valiantly to make it on the big screen, but never made it. Bummer!
And since our summer starts in March here we went to the beach during spring break. It was a perfect day. Warm enough to go in the water, but not so hot you wanted to die! We had a blast!
Making the kids into mermaids. This has now become a beach tradition!
